Project Overview

A Highland Park homeowner needed tuckpointing on the stone veneer exterior of their home, where years of weathering and freeze-thaw cycles had deteriorated the mortar joints between the natural stone. RCC Masonry carefully ground out all failing mortar to a consistent depth without damaging the irregular stone faces, then repointed each joint with color-matched mortar to preserve the home's original character. Our crew worked section by section to ensure uniform joint profiles across the facade, paying special attention to the areas around windows and corners where water infiltration was most severe. We also sealed the restored joints with a breathable siloxane waterproofer to protect against future moisture damage. The homeowner was thrilled with the restored appearance and the confidence that their stone veneer is now fully protected for years to come.
