Project Overview

A two-story commercial building on Green Street in McHenry had severely eroded mortar joints on its north-facing wall, accelerated by years of windblown rain and freeze-thaw cycling. The building owner was facing code enforcement notices and needed a reliable contractor to address the issue quickly. RCC Masonry mobilized within five days, erected scaffolding across the full elevation, and completed a comprehensive repointing of all deteriorated joints. We used a commercial-grade polymer-modified mortar to ensure superior adhesion and longevity. The project was completed ahead of schedule, allowing the building to pass inspection on the first review. Our team also repaired three cracked bricks and replaced two severely spalled units to restore full structural integrity to the wall.
