Commercial Concrete Staircase

Project Overview

A Libertyville office building required replacement of its exterior concrete staircase after years of salt damage had caused extensive spalling and exposed rebar throughout the structure. The stairs served as the primary entrance for employees and clients, so minimizing downtime was critical. RCC Masonry completed the full demolition and rebuild in just eight working days. We poured the new stairs with high-strength 5,000 PSI concrete mixed with air entrainment and fiber reinforcement for maximum freeze-thaw resistance. All treads received an abrasive non-slip finish, and we installed ADA-compliant handrails on both sides. The building manager was impressed by our crew's professionalism, clean job site, and the fact that we finished two days ahead of our projected timeline.
